George Harrison Guitar Heads to Auction

Beatles Fans! What a piece of memorabilia this is!

George Harrison, one of the legendary members of The Beatles is circling the news. The guitar he used at The Beatles last performance at The Cavern Club is heading into auction!

With an estimate of £386,000 ($430,000), will the guitar reach its estimate? Or exceed it?

What Guitar Did George Harrison Use?

George Harrison used the Maton Mastersound MS-500 as a replacement while his Gretsch Country Gentleman needed repairs.

Harrison liked the Maton and played it at their last show at The Cavern in 1963.

When Harrison returned the guitar, Roy Barber from Dave Berry and The Cruisers purchased it.

Trivia - The Beatles Story museum displayed the guitar from 2014-2018.
